TURNKEY BUSINESS! Woodland Acres Campground is located on the Saco River, a well-established recreation area in the foothills of the White Mountains. The campground is about an hour from Maine coastal beaches and three hours from Boston. It is near the White Mountain National Forest, five alpine ski areas, North Conway shopping outlets, and  Sebago Lake. The campground also has direct access to the Interstate Snowmobile Trail system and an adjacent public boat launch.  It is part of Maine’s Peqwautet Scenic Byway,  a 60-mile long corridor actively promoted by the state.

In the midst of this long-established vacation destination area, Woodland Acres has offered private, wooded RV and tent sites between two pristine rivers with both river side and mountain view campsites, trail access and canoe rentals to tenters and RV’ers for almost 40 years.

The campground’s  primary draw is the Saco River which attracts canoeists and kayakers from a broad market area including Boston. But the campground’s strategic location and expansion potential creates opportunities to draw on a much larger and diverse recreational market including hikers, bikers, skiers, eco-toursists, snowmobilers, and North Conway shoppers.

This area currently supports dozens of outfitters and tourism-related businesses.  Of these, Woodland Acres is the only campground that offers a canoe livery (rental and shuttle)  full-service RV camping, and a retail store.
